Invites, revealed!

Well, it seems like it's safe to unveil these babies.  Meet our invites!

This was me trying to figure out how I wanted to bundle everything.  We decided the twine that came with our invites looked better, so I asked the designer where she got it....at Wal-Mart!

I found a white ink pad!  Loved the results.

 All tied up.
After a lot of trial, I figured out the best way to tie these suckers....
 Saving on postage!  Yay MPS!

Now on to the not-fun stuff...
The calligraphy was not at all what I wanted.  It was my fault for not specifying white ink, but I really thought I had.  I had asked for the address to be in a block print though.  The price wasn't bad, but I was still REALLY really disappointed.  There was also a small disaster with the stamps...I had Jason go get the invites weighed.  He found out they would need 65 cents worth of postage, and immediately bought these:

Ugh.  So not what I wanted.  I'm terribly picky for whatever reason.  There was a small war about it, and then he ordered the stamps I really wanted, pictured above.  We resolved it fairly quickly, but he was really mad at me...oops..

BUT, at least they FINALLY got out.  We've even gotten one reply...a negative, but still entertaining.

I Googled safety coffin for you.  You're welcome.
